On October 21st SLO County Progressives partnered with the Atascadero Democratic Club and the Paso Robles Democratic Club to have a booth at Colony Days.
At our General Meeting on October 26th we heard about the current threat to the county’s inclusionary housing ordinance, information about the situation in Puerto Rico, updates on Community Choice Energy, and 7 elected officials/candidates signed our “Oil Money Out, People Power In” pledge (with several more signing later).
We took a road trip to Santa Barbara to knock doors in support of progressive Democratic candidate for Mayor, Cathy Murillo!
Join us for our inaugural SLO County Progressives Friendsgiving! We invite our entire club membership, local organizations, coalition groups, and the community for a night of food, live music and good conversation. This potluck style event is FREE, with beer and wine available for purchase. We simply ask that you bring a non-perishable food donation for the SLO Food Bank. JUST ANNOUNCED: Homegrown Bluegrass/Rock band Cuesta Ridge will be performing LIVE! We also welcome the Atascadero Democratic Club who will be sponsoring a dessert table, and the Paso Robles Democrats who will be sponsoring the salad table!
