The 2020 Elections Are Coming.
2019 ADEM Elections - Jan 13th
In January 2017 SLO County Progressives swept 14 people into the Democratic Party to bring progressive change and a fresh direction. Since then we have seen tremendous success, recently made evident by every one of our local candidates sweeping into power on city councils and mayorships. Now the Assembly District Delegate elections are up again and we need you to show up and vote to ensure the progressive vision continues on in SLO County.
Until Mail Ballots Arrive
We had some great victories in 2018 but more work is ahead. The political climate has never been more primed for progressive change and new energy. Leading up to the 2020 elections we need all-hands-on-deck to ensure victory for our candidates at the polls. It’s time to step up, lean in, and take part. Whether you have one hour a week, or 10 hours a week, there’s a way to get involved.
Our movement is 100% powered by the people! Our opponents accept campaign contributions from large corporations who influence their decisions. They become beholden to big money interests & fail to represent the people who need representation most. Not us. Our organization and our candidates depend on your support. Large or small, your contribution counts!
Who We Are
With over 2,000 members, SLO County Progressives is the largest and most influential political club in county history. Driven by a vision of economic and social justice, we have revitalized and reenergized our local Democratic Party with bold progressive change. We are now working to elect progressives to local, state, and federal office to ensure a brighter future for our community.
After 2016's devastating election results it's now time for a new transformative direction. One that stands for bold progressive change, representing the people, not the 1%. Let's ensure progressives lead the party to overwhelming victories in 2020 and beyond.
Congratulations to every single one of our endorsed candidates at the city level for winning their election! November 2018 proved to be a progressives tsunami in San Luis Obispo County.
